New Article Published in the #BILGINormsEU Special Issue!

The #BILGINormsEU Special Issue brings together an outstanding group of scholars working on norms, contestation, and Europeanisation in the context of EU–Turkey relations. The special issue features 12 articles that collectively explore the dynamics of norm diffusion, transformation, and contestation across diverse political and regional contexts.

Among these contributions, a new article by Özge Onursal Beşgül and Ayhan Kaya, titled “From diffusion to contestation: understanding norms in politics,” has recently been published. The article develops a conceptual framework to analyse how norms travel, evolve, and are contested in political contexts.

It has been a pleasure to collaborate with the excellent group of scholars who contributed to this special issue.
