Voices of the Unheard: View from Civil Society

“Europeanisation of Public Debates and Civil Society in Turkey” (EUROCIV), financially supported by the European Commission, was conducted by Dr. Alper Kaliber at Istanbul Bilgi University European Institute from 1 September 2012 to 31 August 2014. The research project sought to analyze the perceptions of civil society organizations active in the Kurdish issue on Europe/Europeanisation and the role of the European Union in the Kurdish question and the current peace process. One of the outputs of this research has been a short documentary featuring selected civil society organizations which could not make their voices heard, yet which have carried out vital works in the Kurdish issue.
