INTERACT: France, Turkey, EU University Dialogue Summer School on:
“Managing Diversity: EU and Turkey”

This program is implemented by the European Institute of the İstanbul Bilgi University, in partnership with Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and Institut Français d’Etudes Anatoliennes (IFEA). The academic objective of the summer school is to disseminate knowledge on institutions and policies of the EU and Turkey in the course of Turkey’s accession process, with a specific focus on the role of civil society, public opinion, immigration, culture, democracy and foreign policy.

“The Relations between the EU and Turkey”

İstanbul Bilgi University European Institute will be hosting the second session of the Summer University in collaboration with Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE). The lectures, roundtable discussions and debates will encompass several topics including; civil-military relations, euroscepticism, westernization and democratization of Turkey as well the state of affairs between Turkey and the EU. Participants will have the opportunity to receive 6 ECTS credits upon completion of the requirements.
