The University of Helsinki has issued a Call for Papers for its 6th “Emotions, Populism and Polarised Politics, Media, and Culture” (HEPP6) conference, which will be held 18-20 May 2026, both in Helsinki and online. Submissions of paper and panel proposals are welcome until 31 October 2025. Researchers are invited to explore topics such as political-polarisation, grievance politics, emotional mechanisms in populism, audiovisual political communication, memory politics, etc.
