10th European Union Human Rights Film Competition

For exactly 10 years now, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey has organized the EU Human Rights Short Film Competition in Turkey on the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 

Amateur and professional filmmakers are invited to leverage the medium of film to express their views on the concept of inalienable and non-transferable human rights as laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with a view to enabling all individuals to live their lives in dignity.

This year, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey will also award original short films that encourage people to think about gender equality.
