European Mobility Week 2019

"Walk with us"

European Mobility Week is a campaign, which takes place every year from 16-22 September, is organized by the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission and aims to enhance the quality of life by encouraging safe mobility and sustainable urban transport.  The main aim is of the campaign to promote clean and sustainable urban transport.

This year, the campaign is focusing on safe walking and cycling and the health, environment. The theme is designed with the slogan "Walk with us" in 2019!

Towns and cities can join their participation online, selecting which of the three options.

This year's options are:

• holding a week of activities focused on sustainable mobility, 
• implementing one or more permanent transport measures, 
• and holding a ‘Car-Free-Day’ they will be carrying out to celebrate the week.
