BREXIT deal rejected in the UK Parliament

Jan. 17, 2019, 3:16 p.m.

British Prime Minister Theresa May's deal with the EU to exit the Union (BREXIT) has been rejected by the British Parliament's with 432 votes, as opposed to 202 “yes” votes.
The BREXIT vote was the most severe defeat in the UK since 1924. However, after receiving a vote
of confidence from the government on January 16th, Prime Minister Theresa May plans to meet with opposition parties to formulate an alternative BREXIT deal. If London and Brussels cannot reach an agreement and if the parties do not change their current positions, the UK will exit the EU without agreement. In this case, Britain is expected to leave the EU on 29 March 2019.
