The launch conference of the INTERACT: EU, France, Turkey University Dialogue project, implemented by İstanbul Bilgi University’s European Institute together with project partners Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences PO) and Institut Français d’Etudes Anatoliennes (IFEA) took place on December 4 at BİLGİ Dolapdere.

During the conference, the theme of which is “Comparative Perspectives on Managing Diversity: EU, Turkey and France”, speakers will convey their experiences regarding the local, national, regional and transnational aspects of managing diversity. Opening speeches will touch upon the link between the INTERACT: EU, France, Turkey University Dialogue, to which this conference is part of, and the grant program of Promoting Civil Society Dialogue between Turkey and EU. In the first panel, national practices from France, Germany and Italy as well as regional and transnational policies of Europe will be taken up, while in the second panel Turkey’s managing of its diversities will be approached from different focal points.

Conference will take place in room BS2 of Dolapdere Campus between 09.30 – 13.00, and Turkish – English simultaneous translation will be provided.
